MinistriesMidlands Mission Center and its member congregations offer several ministries to the communities we serve. Camp MITIOGCamp MITIOG (Made in the Image of God) is the only youth camp in the nation that focuses on campers with Spina Bifida. The camp is held each summer at Lake Doniphan Conference and Retreat Center in Excelsior Springs, Missouri. For information about Camp MITIOG please email the director Gary Libeer. Central Avenue Center of Hope (CACH)The Central Avenue Center of Hope in Kansas City, Kansas (formerly known as the Grandview Community Center) is home to the Lloyd Siebert Food Pantry, a food kitchen which serves lunch five days a week, a thrift store, and a ministry that reaches out to the homeless. Norton HeightsNorton Heights provides after school programs to kids in Kansas City, Missouri. The PlaceThe Place serves young adults in the Westport area of Kansas City, Missouri. SHARE, IncorporatedSHARE serves as an umbrella organization that provides administrative assistance to non-profit organizations. SHARE also supervises VISTA workers for several area organizations. |
